E. NEW BUSINESS
1. Action/Discussion: Approval of the 2025 Preschool Policy with an effective date of September 4, 2025. This policy provides an exception to families who have already chosen to remain in preschool for the 2025-2026 academic year, rather than transitioning to Transitional Kindergarten.
2. Action/Discussion: Commission to discuss and approve an increase in monthly rent for the Toddler Towers building from $700 to $1,000.
3. Action: Nomination and election of First 5 Commission Chair for Fiscal Year 2025-2026
4. Action: Nomination and election of First 5 Commission Vice-Chair for Fiscal Year 2025-2026
5. Action/Discussion: Commission to discuss and approve replacement of the access ramps at the Toddler Towers building for the amount of $10,467.60.
6. Action Item: Commission to authorize the Sierra County Children and Families Commission staff to open a 457B Plan.
